Why We Garden
"CLU’s Food Garden Seminar is more than simply playing around in the dirt. It is about coming together to discuss food. Where does it come from? How does it grow? How do we consume it? No one cares, you say? Well, we think it is time people start to care. In a country facing obesity, many health problems, and the loss of community, isn’t food something we should start to look at a little closer? How does what we eat effect who we are? These are seemingly simple questions with answers that we have discussed all semester."
